Get to know Us

The Creative Cabinet was formed in 2017 to connect skilled volunteers from the world’s best marketing and advertising organizations with down-ballot candidates who need experienced creative services.

We’ve become a network of politically active, socially conscious creative professionals who have decided to use our skills to advance progressive causes and elect candidates all over the country.

In 2021 we formally combined forces with our sister organization Civic Power of Media under a new umbrella group Civic Power of Change.

 

 Our Impact

The last two election cycles we’ve applied our expertise to support diverse progressive down-ballot candidates, get out the vote efforts, and issue-based nonprofits. Here’s what we’ve accomplished together since 2018.

 OUR WORK WORKS

We believe the key to building a more progressive country starts from the bottom up, when everyday people volunteer to run for office. We love supporting passionate individuals who represent the best of their communities while pushing bold, progressive ideas. Focusing our efforts on down-ballot candidates helps build a Democratic bench, increases voter engagement and allows us to help those who are self-funded.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As a volunteer, or Cabinet Member as we like to say, we’ll work with your availability and schedule. We won’t barrage you with emails, texts, or unreasonable requests. That’s already part of your day job. We just connect you with a grateful candidate and get out of the way. We appreciate the time you’re willing to give to help aspiring politicians get a seat at the table. All we expect is professionalism in return. Work as much or as little as you need. And always reach out with any questions or concerns.

As a candidate we will work with you to first establish what your needs are and then come up with a plan and some talented volunteers to get you the yard sign, mailer, or social media graphics you need. We have writers, video editors, graphic designers and social media experts ready to help you get voters attention. Whether you have yet to announce your campaign and need a logo or are a few weeks out from election day we are happy to plug in at any point so you can focus your efforts on campaigning.
