ADVANCING PROGRESSIVE IDEALS ON AND OFF THE BALLOT

Creative Cabinet is proud to focus on candidates running at the state and local level.

There are no off-years. Year-round, Creative Cabinet matches state and local candidates with our national network of skilled volunteers. It starts with your message. Then a logo, a website, walk cards, last-minute mailers: our volunteers build it, so your campaign can spend its time on the ground game, the one resource no campaign can buy more of.

Running in 2027 or beyond? Talk to us now, not in a few months. The earlier you come to us, the more we can do.

  • From messaging to mailers
  • You cover only hard costs
  • School board to statehouse

Why we work down-ballot

74%
of local races looked like this in 2024.
90%

of regional races had no opponent, too.

~80%

of uncontested partisan races were won by Republicans.

No opponent means voters don’t have a choice on who represents them. No opponent means no debate, no door knocking, no reason for anyone to actually talk to their constituents. These seats are being decided before a single ballot is cast. We help progressive candidates give their voters choice, force a conversation on who best represents their community, and we power them with materials that make their campaign polished and professional.

Where our candidates are

Every dot is a campaign our volunteers have worked with. Since 2018, Creative Cabinet (formerly Civic Power of Change) has matched 298 progressive candidates for local and state office with volunteer designers, writers and strategists, from school board to statehouse. 2026 campaigns join the map after Election Day.
